Industry focus
PEFCR for Toy brands.
The EU Digital Product Passport reaches toys in 2030. By then, every toy sold in the EU will need a PEFCR-compliant environmental footprint attached to a digital passport, alongside the existing safety and compliance obligations toy brands already carry.
Toys are a multi-material category: plastics, woods, metals, textiles, electronics, batteries, paints, adhesives. ClimatePoint maps every component of your BoM to the LCI activities behind it, pushes primary-data requests to suppliers for the lifecycle stages that drive the footprint, and pedigree-scores the rest against EF 3.1 reference data.
Every report is reviewable and signable by an independent third-party auditor working inside the platform. The same data runs PEFCR, ISO 14040/44, and ISO 14067 reports, so when your retail customers ask for a carbon-only number alongside the full PEFCR, you already have it.
The next step
Bring one of your toy products. We will walk through the BoM, identify the primary data that will move the footprint, and give you an honest estimate of what shipping a full audit-ready PEFCR for it would actually take.
